It is a Holistic system of healthcare and embraces all levels of an individuals physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
An herbal practitioner takes a holistic approach, accessing the whole person rather than just symptoms. This is based on a philosophy that suppression of symptoms alone may not lead to complete health, because underlying problems are not addressed. Herbology may be used not just when ailments occur, but also to maintain the general health and vitality of patients. It is suited to people of all ages, from babies to the elderly.
